With your purchase of a leaf of love, you can honour a loved one, or create a tribute to somebody special, whilst supporting Leicester’s Hospitals.  

The leaves of love can be used to mark or celebrate important stages of our lives; such as births, marriages, anniversaries, or passing of a loved one. 

Your purchase of a leaf will provide vital funding to support projects like the beautiful Secret Garden at Glenfield Hospital. It could provide covered spaces in the garden so, even on rainy days, staff can get outside on their lunch break and return to the wards feeling refreshed. It could provide seating, so our elderly patients have somewhere outside to sit and enjoy the fresh air. You might see the impact in the faces of patients, families, and staff who depend on the tranquillity of the garden as a safe space for rest, thought, and remembrance in their time of need. 

The locally sourced leaves are available in three different designs, which reflect the beauty of the trees in the garden; birch, elm, and maple. They are hand rusted, with a natural finish that beautifully compliments the vibrant changing colours of the garden through the seasons. 

Your leaf can be personalised with a name, date, or message with a maximum of 45 characters. The cost is £175. 

If you are looking for something bigger, there is the option to have a tree planted in the garden with prices ranging from £200.

We will ask for an optional donation on the anniversary of the installation of your leaf/tree. There is no obligation to give, but your further donations will support the areas most in need across Leicester’s three NHS hospitals – the Royal Infirmary, the Leicester General, and Glenfield Hospital.
