Leicester Hospitals Charity pop-up shop debuts at Highcross Shopping Centre.

Leicester Hospitals Charity is excited to announce the opening of its first-ever charity pop-up shop at Highcross Shopping Centre this weekend. This remarkable initiative promises to engage the community in a unique shopping experience while contributing to supporting patient care at Leicester’s Hospitals.

The shop will officially open on Saturday 18 November and will be at the Highcross Shopping Centre until Friday 22 December.  The opening hours will vary, you can find out more on the Charity’s social media channels.

The Leicester Hospitals Charity Pop-Up Shop is set to transform shopping into an opportunity to give back, with all proceeds directly benefitting Leicester’s Hospitals.

The primary objective of this initiative is to raise vital funds to support patient care, medical equipment, and facility improvements. The funds collected will have a direct and meaningful impact on the healthcare services provided to the community.

Get involved: You’ll have the chance to purchase various items and make your own contributions. While you won’t leave with physical items, you’ll depart with the knowledge that your gift will be directed to areas where it’s needed most, facilitating transformations in your hospitals.

Meet the team: Pop in between Saturday 18 November and Friday 22 December and meet the wonderful fundraising team and have a chat about how you can get involved.

Launch event!

Launching the shop is a fundraising event on Thursday 16 November where a dozen of the city’s Business Leaders, CEOs and Directors will be ‘locked in’ the store.  They aim to raise over £12,000 to fund 12 new fold-away beds so that parents can comfortably stay with their children during their stay at the hospital.
