Exclusive Event: A New Corporate Offer for Business Leaders in Leicester

The corporate fundraising team at Leicester Hospitals Charity are launching their new corporate offer, inviting business leaders, from across Leicestershire to join them at an event on Tuesday 27 June. It is a chance for guests to meet other business leaders who share an interest in working with and supporting Leicester’s Hospitals and helping the Charity bring better care to the community of Leicestershire.

Unlocking Collaboration: The Power of Corporate Charity Support

Guests will be among the first to hear about the brand-new corporate offer, including joining the new Business Club and hear about the impact collaboration with businesses can have on the lives of NHS staff, patients and their carers at Leicester’s Hospitals.

Business leaders will also learn about the Charity’s current fundraising projects such as The Spiritual Care Centre Appeal and the calendar of exciting events that they are planning.

Empowering Leicester’s Hospitals: The Impact of Charity Corporate Partnerships

Sunita Patel, Head of Corporate and Community Fundraising, who has recently joined the Charity said: “Leicester Hospitals Charity has strong connections with local businesses across Leicester, Rutland, and Leicestershire. This event is a way of re-introducing them and new leaders to our work and the impact corporate support has across all areas of our three hospitals.

“From funding for the latest life-saving medical equipment that benefits patient care to equipping staff rooms with adequate kettles so that our hard-working staff can have a warm cup of tea or coffee during a busy shift. Thanks to the existing partnerships with businesses the Charity has been able to provide funding where it is needed the most.

“The vision for the new Business Club is that it truly becomes the place where compassion and business unite for the benefit of Leicester’s Hospitals and improve patient care.

“I am confident that we can offer a corporate partnership model for every business, and I would love to start these conversations with the city’s business leaders at the event and beyond.”

The event space has kindly been provided by long-standing supporters of the Charity, Mattioli Woods, who recently funded the Youth Forum programme for a further year, giving young people a continued voice in the future development and improvements to patient care within Leicester’s Hospitals.
